Getting Started with Fellow
What is Fellow?
Section titled “What is Fellow?”Fellow is the complete toolkit for App Store features. Use it to:
- View editorial content across 170+ App Store storefronts.
- Receive push and email notifications when Apple promotes your apps.
- Track your apps and competitors, with feature details, history, and screenshots of each placement.
Fellow monitors the Today, Games, and Apps tabs across 170+ storefronts throughout the day. It detects new editorial content, records placement details, captures screenshots showing how each placement appeared at the time, and notifies you when one of your apps is featured. No more manually checking storefronts one by one.
Access to every App Store country is still essential for understanding different markets and feature trends, and seeing what Apple promotes worldwide. Fellow makes that simple: switch the App Store app to another country with one tap, or browse any storefront without leaving Fellow.
For more advanced App Store research, the App Store Explorer lets you open multiple storefronts side by side, search across all of them at once, and capture screenshots as you browse.
Why Fellow?

Platforms
Section titled “Platforms”Fellow runs on Mac, iPhone and iPad, and in any modern web browser.
The desktop app is the most complete version of Fellow. It includes embedded App Store browsing and the App Store Explorer.
iPhone and iPad
Section titled “iPhone and iPad”Fellow can be installed as a web app (PWA) on iPhone and iPad, directly from Safari:
- Open Fellow in Safari.
- Tap the Share button.
- Select Add to Home Screen.
The installed app supports push notifications, which require iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later. Email notifications are available on every platform.
Fellow also runs in any modern browser, on desktop or mobile. Open Fellow to check your tracked apps, browse countries, and review feature history from any device, anywhere.
Some features, including the App Store Explorer, require the desktop app.
Fellow vs Switchr
Section titled “Fellow vs Switchr”Switchr was created as a simple, free app for switching App Store countries. Fellow is its successor and a complete upgrade: everything Switchr does remains free, while paid plans add app tracking, feature notifications, history, and more.
