Section titled “What is Fellow?”Fellow lets you see when and where Apple features your apps. You can explore different App Store countries, track apps and their features, and get notified when Apple features your apps.
Which platforms does Fellow support?
Section titled “Which platforms does Fellow support?”Fellow runs on Mac, iPhone and iPad, and in any modern web browser. The desktop app is the most complete version of Fellow and includes the App Store Explorer.
Can I view another country’s App Store without changing my Apple Account country?
Section titled “Can I view another country’s App Store without changing my Apple Account country?”Yes. Fellow lets you browse another country inside the Fellow app or change the country in your device’s App Store app without changing your Apple Account region.
Is Fellow free?
Section titled “Is Fellow free?”Yes. You can switch countries and explore the App Store for free. Paid plans add app tracking, feature notifications, feature history, custom App Store Explorer layouts, themes, and team features. See Plans and Billing.
Is there a free trial?
Section titled “Is there a free trial?”Fellow may offer eligible Free accounts a limited trial. Trial offers may not be available to every account or at all times. When a trial is available, its duration and any conditions are shown in the app.
If you don’t see a trial offer, need more trial time, or want another trial after completing one, contact us.
What happened to Switchr?
Section titled “What happened to Switchr?”Fellow is the successor to Switchr and a complete upgrade. Everything Switchr does remains free, while paid plans add app tracking, feature notifications, history, and more. Switchr remains available, but Fellow is where new development happens. See the comparison.
Early Access
Section titled “Early Access”What does Early Access mean?
Section titled “What does Early Access mean?”Fellow is available while its feature data and workflows continue to improve. You may see rough edges, incomplete historical data, or functionality change as the product develops.
Are Early Access promotions available?
Section titled “Are Early Access promotions available?”Current prices and promotions are shown on the Fellow pricing page.
Is all historical data complete?
Section titled “Is all historical data complete?”Not always. Some older placements, screenshots, countries, or feature details may be incomplete while Fellow continues to build and validate its history.
How should I report an issue?
Section titled “How should I report an issue?”Use Report a Bug in Fellow or contact us. Include a screenshot and the steps that led to the problem when possible.
App Store countries and features
Section titled “App Store countries and features”Can I buy apps from other countries?
Section titled “Can I buy apps from other countries?”Fellow lets you view another country’s App Store, but it does not change your Apple Account region or purchase eligibility.
What is an App Store feature?
Section titled “What is an App Store feature?”In Fellow, an App Store feature is editorial content where Apple highlights an app or game. Features appear across the Today, Games, and Apps tabs and may be Stories, Collections, or other editorial placements. Featured content can differ between App Store countries.
What is the difference between an App Store Story and a Collection?
Section titled “What is the difference between an App Store Story and a Collection?”A Story is an editorial page about apps, games, developers, events, or tips. A Collection groups apps or games around a topic or theme. Fellow treats both as App Store features.
How are App Store features tracked?
Section titled “How are App Store features tracked?”Fellow monitors the Today, Games, and Apps tabs across 170+ storefronts, capturing localized titles, first- and last-seen dates, countries, and screenshots. Read How Fellow Detects App Store Features.
Can I see an app’s past App Store features?
Section titled “Can I see an app’s past App Store features?”Yes. Fellow shows current and past App Store features, including available features detected before you started tracking the app. You can review countries, dates, placement details, and screenshots. Available history depends on your plan.
Where can I find feature screenshots?
Section titled “Where can I find feature screenshots?”Use the App Store Feature Gallery to filter captured screenshots by app, country, and date. You can view or download screenshots and export your filtered selection. Larger exports are delivered by email.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”How can I check if my app is featured in the App Store?
Section titled “How can I check if my app is featured in the App Store?”Track your app in Fellow to see its current and past features across 170+ storefronts. Turn on push or email notifications to know when Fellow detects a new feature. With Priority feature notifications, you can also receive updates when a feature expands to more countries.
Does App Store Connect notify me when my app is featured?
Section titled “Does App Store Connect notify me when my app is featured?”App Store Connect can email eligible team members when an app is featured. Push notifications in the App Store Connect app cover select placements in the Today tab, such as App of the Day or Game of the Day.
Fellow monitors the Today, Games, and Apps tabs across 170+ storefronts without requiring an App Store Connect connection. It saves feature history and screenshots, and sends push or email notifications for new features. Priority feature notifications also cover country expansions.
How do notifications work?
Section titled “How do notifications work?”Fellow supports email and push notifications for tracked apps. You can choose countries and notification channels per app, then choose grouped or priority delivery. See App Store Feature Notifications.
Why am I not receiving push notifications?
Section titled “Why am I not receiving push notifications?”Push notifications require iOS or iPadOS 16.4 or later, Fellow installed on your Home Screen, and notification permission enabled. Check the current device under Settings → Notifications.
Billing
Section titled “Billing”How do I change my plan?
Section titled “How do I change my plan?”Go to Settings → Subscription and select a plan. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades, same-tier annual-to-monthly changes, and other lower-access changes take effect at your next renewal.
What happens when I cancel or downgrade?
Section titled “What happens when I cancel or downgrade?”Your current plan remains active until the end of the paid billing period. When a cancellation or downgrade takes effect, your most recently added apps remain active up to the new plan’s limit. Any others remain in your account but are paused, so tracking and notifications stop for those apps.
If Teams is no longer included, one active user keeps access and the other members are deactivated. If Priority feature notifications are no longer included, notification delivery returns to Grouped.
Where can I find my invoices?
Section titled “Where can I find my invoices?”Open Settings → Subscription, then use the Polar billing portal to view invoices and update payment details.
